Rockstars & Ninjas

Do you want to know how to get me to stop reading your job post? It’s pretty easy. The use of one word can do it. These words include: ninja and/or rockstar.


I don’t even know what a “design ninja” would even do? Would he use ancient warrior tactics to create a banner ad? “Rockstar designer” sounds even worse. Aren’t rockstars notorious for staying up all night, drinking too much, giving you only a couple hours of work per night and sleeping with your girlfriend? I’m not anti-ninja or anti-rockstars, but nothing screams more than your job ad is either amateur or trying to hard.
